High borosilicate glass refers to borosilicate glass with an expansion coefficient of 3.3×10-6K-1. This glass can also be tempered. After tempering, it can be used on various high-temperature windows with working temperatures within 450℃. It is one of the products with better heat resistance. High borosilicate glass is mainly made by float process. The plate surface that can be processed is large, generally up to 750×1200. With the improvement of technology, the processable plate surface will also become larger and larger.
High borosilicate glass is increasingly used in new and technical special glass applications, such as electrophoresis technology, microscopic applied fluidics, photovoltaic technology, high temperature resistant mirrors, high pressure resistant mirrors, acid and alkali resistant mirrors, microwave ovens, fireplaces, chemical pipelines, etc.
